noopener\"><strong><em>Generation Study Abroad Year One Impact<\/em><\/strong><\/a> illustrates the initial and compelling outcomes of the first year of the initiative, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>114 U.S. campuses pledged to double the number of students who study abroad and others planned to increase three-, four-, five-fold, or more.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>$185 million pledged by GSA Commitment Partners in study abroad scholarships and related support by the end of the decade.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>84% of all Generation Study Abroad Commitment Partners pledged bold actions to reduce financial barriers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2020, IIE took stock of Generation Study Abroad with the final annual progress survey for GSA Commitment Partners.
